JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide the necessary information and data to the process engineer to serve as the basis for carrying out efficiency improvement projects for the operations.  Provide support to the process / design engineers in the tasks related to the projects.  Identify, through analysis of process capacity or from any other source, the machinery that is not capable of meeting expectations. Interact with Facility staff to correct this situation. Interact with the manufactures personnel to solve situations related to guarantee the good quality of the products. Develop and implement fixtures . Assist in projects that lead to more advanced technology in areas of responsibility. Create / maintain documentation related to processes - engineering, quality, safety. Generate project documentation and maintain equipment performance files. Coordinate and perform process and equipment validations as necessary. Periodically report progress on assigned tasks.  Assist in the development of procedures and operational methods when required. Assist manufacturing operators and engineers in the analysis and solution of problems through the use of statistical techniques.  Monitor follow-up or permanent actions implemented as a result of corrective actions or opportunities for improvement identified.  Perform "follow up" with suppliers for the development of continuous improvement projects.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor of Industrial / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering in University. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the industry related to Quality Control and / or Manufacturing Engineering.
