Summary

Responsible for internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, phones and related equipment. Also provide maintenance, training and technical support to the workstations and users by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, and installing hardware and software solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responds to all calls and issues from users in the office, warehouse and remote offices, including but not limited to the following:

  • Desktop issues (incl. Microsoft Windows 7, Outlook, Word, Excel, networking, printer drivers & hardware, phones, cabling, headsets, how-to questions & training, Etc.)
  • Remote issues (including the above and Dell laptops, VPN, Wi-Fi, Etc)
  • Maintain all workstation hardware & software (PC’s, network, printers, phones, accessories, Etc.)
  • Handle all workstation setups, desk moves, meetings with audio/visual, etc.
  • Verbally communicate clearly and comfortably with all company users. Work patiently with the users to diagnose computer issues and guide them with any required steps to perform.
  • Write clear and easy to follow emails, instructions and guides for the users.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance with the users.
  • All other duties as assigned and/or required.

 

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university preferred and a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a similar job capacity.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent experience desired.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Windows 7, MS Office, PC hardware & networks required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and mathematical skills required.

  • Must be highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills, be a quick learner and a team player.
  • Must be self-motivated, take initiative and possess good work ethics. Must be able to work independently without much supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
