Description of duties: 

  • Perform assembly of microfluidic assemblies as per established written work orders, including inspection of parts according to quality criteria.
  • Segregate non-conforming items and notify appropriate personnel
  • Collect production testing data of all sub-assemblies for process engineering
  • Perform quality checks
  •  Accurately document work accomplished via provided product and sub-assembly travelers. Fill out all required forms, logs, etc. in the manufacturing test system
  •  Perform all activities in accordance with GMP/QSR requirements and established safety procedures.
  • Ability to work full time in a Class 10,000 (ISO 7) cleanroom 

Background:

  • Possess a high level of manual dexterity, including the ability to handle and control small parts during critical assembly, disassembly, and cleaning processes is required.
  • Must retain demonstrated ability to perform to high-quality workmanship standards.
  • Must retain ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings, diagrams, and technical publications.
  • A proven track record working in compliance with applicable Quality Assurance (QA), Safety, Health and Environmental plans, policies, and procedures is important.
  • Have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, being a self-starter, working independently with limited instruction, and meeting critical technical and schedule demands.
  • The position applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in determining assembly malfunctions. 
  • Highschool diploma required, AA degree or science background preferred
