Portfolio Marketing Manager

Kelly Services is seeking a Portfolio Marketing Manager for a producer of analytical instruments, genetic testing and diagnostic tools, medical imaging components, software, instruments, and consumables for multiple end markets located in Hopkinton, MA.

As a Portfolio Marketing Manager working for Kelly Services you will join our client's marketing team to support the Discovery solutions business.

Hours: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day
Pay Rate: $34 - $39 per hour

Travel Requirement: Some (20%) travel to conferences/tradeshows, sales meetings and customer sites, Domestic and some International may be required. 


  • Minimum 5 years product or portfolio marketing experience 
  • Experience of working across the marketing mix including online and offline channels 
  • Experience working in life science or related market required 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or the sciences, MBA preferred 
  • Experience of Salesforce.com and marketing automation systems desirable

  • Support product launches by developing and delivering launch plans in alignment with the business strategy 
  • Create product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with the target audience, working in collaboration with product management 
  • Work with the segment marketing team to define the marketing campaign strategy 
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the target personas, buyer journey, product portfolio, market trends and competitors, and champion the product portfolio across the marketing eco-system 
  • Manage the development and delivery of the content marketing plan to support the buyer journey and marketing campaigns, across a range of formats, working with internal and external content specialists and writers as required 
  • Create optimized website content to provide an engaging user experience that supports the buyer journey 
  • Work with field marketing teams to ensure integration and alignment between global and regional marketing plans 
  • Support the execution of digital marketing activities including email, nurture programs, search marketing, digital advertising and offline activities such as events 
  • Supply stories and content for PR and social media 
  • Communicate marketing plans and campaigns with internal stakeholders as appropriate 
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance and use findings to drive continuous improvement 
  • Manage allocated budgets and report regularly on spend
