Marketing & Sales Manager

Kelly Services is seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager for a market leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury, sports and performance eye wear located in Mason, OH.

GENERAL FUNCTION: This role will also be responsible for all print & digital (that includes digital, social, mobile, CRM, and email marketing). Partners with Company Wholesale to inform and co-ordinate marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have multi-channel retail / wholesale experience, interactive experience and experience interacting with wholesale operations, customer service, marketing and production teams to develop the objectives, strategies and plans to deliver annual and long term goals. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
•Assist in the development of annual marketing plan and activity calendar across all touch points in collaboration with Rx Operations, Divisions, Account Specialists, and Product teams. 
•Develop a brand equity / recognition strategy and program to elevate Company Rx Operations to a new level in the marketplace. 
-Key player in defining overall US brand architecture and communication strategy 
• Own development of all Rx Operations brand communication programs and media plan for North America to deliver against brand growth objectives. 
• Strategic involvement in business decisions. Proactive in defining, proposing and energetically driving both strategically and tactically ways to steer business. 
-Impact decision making with recommendations based on solid marketing understanding, direct ECP engagement, ECP buying groups and insightful analysis of research learning’s and data support. 
• Coach, influence and train Customer Service teams with direct touch points to ECP 
-Influence and motivate Account Specialist and related business partners 
-Serve as mentor/coach to all members of brand team and shared services. 
• Develop and manage marketing budget. Make sure marketing spends are on budget and accurate reporting. 
• Tactics may include (but are not limited to) print advertising, digital advertising, conferences/events, collateral, videos, sales tools, web content, email, research development, social media, etc. 
• Drive to consistently improve the performance of marketing programs and identify enhancement opportunities to grow Account Specialist awareness, consideration, recommendation and, ultimately sales 
• Analyze ECP satisfaction 
• Constantly seek process improvements to increase efficiency and innovation to build results.

• Brand Equity Development: experience in brand management and developing business driving marketing plans and brand building programs. Experience across all type of communication channels 
• Digital Marketing: experience in digital and interactive marketing.

Reason for Opening: With the increased growth in Company Lab Services and new goals to grow Brand Rx lenses, our current personnel bandwidth is not able to support the initiatives of realigning customer service to support the growth goals, manage the corrective actions needed to address current IT/integration issues, operational and catalogue resolution and aggressive NPI of rx lenses for the coming 6 months. This temporary position will address the marketing development program needs to be executed through Company Lab Services, provide support of realigning customer service operations. Currently our single existing resource who has the marketing & sales experience is fully engaged in managing the Company Lab Services operations, NPI, Company Catalogue management, high level support for Customer Service, Wholesale growth for RB and OO within Company, and RTB efforts.’

EXPERIENCE

  • 5-7 years increasing responsibility in Marketing role(s)
  • Minimum 3 years of brand management experience
  • Ideally experience at a branded retailer, wholesale and consumer products company
  • Experience in an agency environment is a plus
  • Must be a strong team player, have entrepreneurial drive, organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or other related field required, M.B.A. preferred
