Content Marketing Associate

Our client, a member-owned agricultural cooperative, is currently looking for a Content Marketing Associate for a contract position expected to last 2-months, with a possibility of being extended. The position is located in Arden Hills, MN.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Coordinate and oversee the development of editorial and content calendars and ensure they align with overarching business objectives in partnership with internal and external partners
  • Lead development and implementation of content created internally and through external vendors including but not limited to e-mail campaigns, social media, sales collateral, videos, website copy, etc.
  • Communicate clear expectations to partners and manage vendor relationships to ensure timelines/budget requirements are met
  • Work closely with Culinary Center to coordinate and develop photo and video shoots as needed
    • Create or oversee the creation of pre-pros and story boards for photo and video shoots in partnership with the CC staff
    • Coordinate and review visual content from agency partners, videographers, photographers and internal partners
  • Be the primary contact with agency and vendor partners in the development and implementation of content
  • Review creative content (social posts, blog posts, emails) and ensure they are in line with digital requirements, brand standards and tone of voice
    • Edit (and write when needed) copy for site, social or email activations
  • Work with agency and analytics team on developing reports on content campaigns and activations based on business objectives
  • Draw insights from analytics, digital media and social platform data that can inspire and evolve content across site, social and email
  • Identify content gaps in strategy and implement solutions wherever possible
  • Provide regular, accurate campaign and activation updates to internal stakeholders
  • Make and oversee implementation of optimization recommendations
  • Update site content and upload assets to asset management system (Percolate)
  • Manage agency and content development budget

 

 

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and/or ability to learn new ones, (e.g. native social media, ad tools, web publishing tools, analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of digital content strategy
  • Familiarity with analyzing data and reporting; ability to gather observations to fuel insights in service of making work better
  • Strong writer and editor with familiarity of writing content for social media, email and long-form content
  • Finger on the pulse of content trends in media and emerging technology
  • Self-starter with the abilities to both follow detailed instructions when needed and self-direct in absence of direction
  • Can distill complexity into simple, powerful observations and recommendations
  • Authoritative and persuasive presenter, writer and visual communicator
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment
