SUMMARY:
Seeking a self-starter Human Resource (HR) Coordinator Assistant to work in an innovative, dynamic and high-performance manufacturing office in Kent. This role will provide key support to a talented Human Resource Team and will assist in the daily HR administrative functions of the following functions: payroll administration, benefits coordination, records maintenance, employee engagement and other HR related projects.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage HR files of personnel and benefit documents
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
- Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential
- Abide by company enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
- Assists the HR team with new hire orientation, scheduling of candidate interviews, and other related tasks, as assigned
- Create new hire packets and benefit packets for orientation
- Support Events Committee Meetings and events
- Responsible for timely filing of all HR correspondence
- Serves as main contact person for Employee badging/Vanpool/Carpool/ORCA pass/Parking administration
- Responsible for Employee of the Month recognition, birthday card distribution and Service Year awards
- Complete all Voice of the Employee (VOE) and unemployment paperwork
- Assist the Recruiter by completing data entry into the ATS, updating and managing job postings, checking references, background checks and conducting phone screens, as needed,
- Enter completed training records accurately into the training database
- Act as the main contact for all training database reporting
- Data entry of new hire information
- Provide general office support, to include:
o Back-up receptionist coverage
o Order office supplies as needed
o Create personnel and benefit files for new hires
o Assist with benefit and employee communication
o Meeting coordination: scheduling rooms and arranging food & beverages
- Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface or are brought to your attention
- Support HR- related projects, as assigned
- Work closely with Recruiter to create a great candidate and on-boarding experience, as assigned



Highlights

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED, required
- 2 years of HR-related work experience, required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience, preferred
- Payroll, recruitment and employee engagement program experience, a plus
- Experience working in a diverse environment at all levels of an organization in a positive and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and project management
- Ability to remain positive and adaptable attitude in an ever-changing work environment with competing demands
- Able to uphold Company IT policy, procedures and culture through relations with internal and external contacts
- Able to maintain the highly confidential nature of payroll and human resource work.
