Research Specialist

Every day, Kelly Scientific Resources connects scientific professionals with opportunities to advance their careers, and we currently have a part-time, contract opening for a Research Specialist in Rosemont, IL. 


  • Provide day-to-day support of research request process and research-related medical literature
  • Develop and revise materials consistent with scientific findings
  • Establish and monitor science and research project workflow to ensure internal and external requests are completed in a timely fashion
  • Maintain records of all research request outputs and work with Medical Librarian to develop additional research-related resources.
  • Support the development and update of Academy position statements and scientific resources
  • Assist the Sr. Manager, Science and Quality Operations, with the administration of award programs
  • Support other departmental evidence-based projects and programs as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree (biology, chemistry, anatomy, pharmacy, epidemiology, or public health
  • 2 years experience reviewing, analyzing and synthesizing scientific/clinical research in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience with Medline or Pub Med
  • Background in health care or medical research preferred
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and successfully multi-task competing priorities


Pay: $20/hr

Contract position through December 13th

3 days/week
