Direct Hire - FP&A Controller

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Job Description:

  • Responsible for overall Financial Management and profitability of the Basin Product Line.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure Internal Control, compliance to Financial Policies and a partner to support the Business decisions.
  • Review Tenders and provide Financial input to Terms and Conditions and margins.
  • Review and examine investment opportunities.
  • Review Balance Sheet notes and ensure Financial Compliance.
  • Understand and Ensure Sarbanes Oxley requirements and compliance to the same.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and produce meaningful insights and information.
  • Ability to work in and lead a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial statements and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.
  • Ability to develop and update complex financial models.
  • Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts (revenue recognition concepts, expense timing, capitalization policies, etc.).
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong business and analytical skills; ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment.
  • Strong Excel experience (pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc.).
