Marketing Communications Coordinator II

My name is George Rogers and I am a Recruiter with Kelly Services, Inc., a Fortune 500 workforce solutions company. We are currently seeking to fill a Marketing Communications Coordinator II position in Thousand Oaks, CA. I have attached the details of the opportunity below:

 

Duration: 6+ months

Pay: $30.00 - $37.65/HOUR

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating the development and performing detailed review of Medicare provider directories. Job duties entail detailed proofreading, helping to manage composition rules and version grids, establishing and performing quality control in online ordering and document generation, and ensuring we adhere to all legal and compliance standards. Must effectively engage and coordinate efforts between internal business partners and external vendor resources. Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized.

 

  • Responsible for facilitating all steps of moderately complex marketing communication (Marcom) project workflows.
  • Works with Marketing Communications areas to facilitate projects through all stages (research, design, writing, proofreading, review, printing, mailing and archival) to ensure product is produced in a timely, accurate, and effective manner.
  • Acts as primary client interface and collaborates with business partners and SMEs on projects.
  • Reviews requests and recommends communication solutions as needed.
  • Schedules and leads project meetings with business partners.
  • Acts as project manager for workflow process and is responsible for ensuring consistency and standardization on all materials.
  • Coordinates project reviews and re-negotiates terms/deadlines as appropriate.
  • Creates production schedules, assigns form numbers, requests source files and manages the production process of materials.
  • Seeks out opportunities for process improvements/efficiencies, and supports business initiatives (standardization, going paperless, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 3-5 years of related experience
  • Proofreading skills must be strong.
  • Candidate must have attention to detail, good organization skills, proofing history and QC of marketing materials or communications.
  • Provider Directory experience a major plus.
  • Excel skills/experience is highly desired. QC and database usage is a plus as well.
