Administrative Assistant - Houston, TX

Kelly Services is now seeking an administrative professional in the Houston, TX area to join the team of the second largest producer and marketer of chemicals and related products in North America. This is a foot-in-the-door opportunity with an amazing company!

THE BASICS

Pay: $14.50/hr
Shift: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. M-F
Hire Type: 1 year contract position (estimated July 8, 2019 – July 7, 2020)

POSITION PROFILE

The Marketing & Communications Admin supports the Performance Materials Group: Marketing and Communications Construction Team, Applications, and Territory Sales Managers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Technology Training Center – including scheduling, registration and set up for all training classes

  • Organize onsite meetings with meeting host, including scheduling catering, pre and post-meeting room preparation, ensure guests have signed in and are familiar with site safety protocol

  • Assist with miscellaneous marketing projects and campaigns

  • Support the spray sales team and sales managers with marketing needs

  • Fulfillment of all literature and sample requests

  • Administration of roofing contractor program

  • Distribution of construction project leads

  • Track promotional items shipped to customers and sales team

  • Maintain office supply inventory

  • Manage warranty records

  • Create and launch trade show surveys

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email)

  • Ability to multi-task/prioritize, must be detailed oriented and can be successful in a fast-paced environment.
