Procurement Specialist - Fluent in French

 

 Procurement Specialist– Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)

Rate; $33/hr

3+ year long term position with Kelly OCG (Outsource Consulting Group). You will receive full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid vacation, Holidays, sick time, and 401k, etc.

Responsible for:

  • Procurement transactional management: expedite purchase requisitions to purchase order, with the focus on contract and process compliance
  • Contract Management: Track and manage contract compliance (price and volume applied against contractual obligation). 
  • Control checks: Resolution of non-compliance issues, data maintenance, deviation handling, SAP contract/PO administration and reporting
  • Sourcing Support

Required skills:

  • Strong SAP Procurement work process knowledge
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in French
  • Team work and service mindset
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Procurement Transactional Activities. Review the Purchase requisition details, ensure contract or quote’s price and terms & conditions matched with SAP requisitions setup.  Execute Purchase Order and/or Outline Agreement creation.
  • Update and change Purchase Order details when requested by Sourcing Managers
  • Tracking and monitoring Contract leakage and compliance with preferred approved suppliers, procurement policies and procedures. 
  • Follow up with respective person(s) on approval work flow blocks
  • Maintain a record of the outstanding purchase orders and contact vendors through telephone calls and/or by email. Vendors relay information regarding delays in shipments, which the expediter works to resolve with purchaser.
  • Investigate and resolve any escalated cases, such as inconsistencies in the purchase order against good receipt quantity, unit price discrepancy on invoice or order confirmation.
  • Prepare reports for audits and other expediting functional KPI reports
  • Provide trouble shooting support to purchasers
  • Interface between internal and external parties
  • Support vendor scorecard tracking under Sourcing manager guidance.
  • Identify cost savings/cost avoidance opportunities and report to sourcing periodically
