Kelly Services has teamed up with the world leaders in lighting and displays and seeking a HR Generalist for the Redmond WA location.

Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
Temp to start but looking to hire as full time
HR exposure / understanding preferred
Admin support
Monthly reporting
Recruiting Coordinator (scheduling/onboarding process)

As an early career HR Generalist you will provide a wide variety of administrative support to both the Director of Human Resources and HR Manager. In this role you will have the opportunity to partner closely with finance and other departments throughout the organization providing customer focused and effective HR and Administrative support.
We are looking for an exceptionally talented early career HR Generalist who is an organized self-starter, passionate about talent management and organizational development. This is a unique opportunity to be coached by exceptional leaders in their field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general administrative support for the Human Resource organization.
Manage candidate interview set up, travel and day of interview scheduling. Assist in recruiting and hiring process activities such as posting jobs on job boards or websites; review job applications and maintain applicant/candidate spreadsheet.
Review, file and process expense reports, organization charts, tracking of R&D time, monthly benefit statements, employee reward letters/gift cards, new employee hire paperwork, employment termination information as well as, the process of confidential reports including employee census information, and monthly health care benefit billing review.
Manage sensitive and confidential matters including employee visa information and employee data in partnership with HR Director and HRBP. Process background checks on new employee hires as well as the business paper work needed for employee business visas.
Project manage new hire on boarding including working with employee-s managers and IT for new hire office/computer set up as well as onboarding training materials completion.
Create professional documents, templates and PowerPoint edits for employee merit and promotion letters, All Hand Meetings, employee awards and employee handbook and/or training.
Provide Office and Executive admin back up including phone reception support.
Coordinate and arrange office work events, learning lunches, and social/holiday events if needed.
Provide backup information/employee support as needed in support of HR as well as office phone support.

Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- College graduate
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills including strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with ambiguity and seek results.
- Comfortable creating and editing presentations, templates and other professional documents for a wide audience spectrum.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while asking needed questions.
- Able to deliver effective work outcomes, meet deadlines and targets.
- Passionate and driven to achieve excellence in role and delivery of great work products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
