Job Title: Clinical Statistician

 

Pay: $100 per hour 

 

**100% Remote work is available, California residency is not required**

 
Description

Provide in-depth statistical expertise in the areas of; experiment, protocol, case report form design, data base structure, and analysis plan; collaborate with the medical groups to complete joint scientific reports and FDA overviews, including review of such reports to ensure accuracy and clarity. May also contribute to the decision for optimal study design and contribute to the proper use of statistical methodologies for a study. 

•MS (with 4+ years of experience) or PhD (with 2+ years of experience) in Statistics or Biostatistics 
•Experience with Phase 1-2 clinical trials, including dose-escalation studies 
•High degree of technical competence and effective communication skills, both oral and written 
•Able to identify data or analytical issues, and assist with providing solutions by either applying own skills and knowledge or seeking help from others 
•Able to build strong relationship with peers and cross-functional partners to achieve higher performance. 

Top 5 skills/requirements this person is required have? 
1: Experience with early development (phase 1) studies 
2: Experience in oncology studies is required
3: Experience with dose escalation designs beyond 3+3 method; e.g. CRM, BOIN method 
4: Ability to lead a study from the beginning to the end and be able to represent Statistics in multi-functional team meetings 
5: Ability to review data, provide guidance to programmers to deliver outputs, and when needed use SAS programming 
 

Preferred Experience:

Experience with basic Bayesian methods 
Individual contributor as the Statistics Lead on studies but work collaboratively with other team members including programming. Clinical operations, and data management 
Good oral and written communication skills required
