Network Engineer

Kelly IT has an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer!



  • Planning, executing, and implementing large, complex Infrastructure projects
  • Creation of comprehensive project plans, and coordination of team members, third-party contractors, and consultants 
  • Assisting with strategic plans and roadmaps for future Infrastructure initiatives; tracking project milestones and deliverables; identifying and mitigating issues; resolving conflicts with the project; and developing/presenting proposals, reports and project plans to management 
  • Serve as solution expert & engineer in support of delivering business goals via Networking, Unified Communication & Data Security technology 
  • Engage as project engineer on activities, tasks & initiatives of varying size as determined by project and/or manager. 
  • Function as a consultant and resource to internal team members as well as external business units as it relates to current and future infrastructure. 
  • Responsible for establishing project plans, schedules, and documentation including configurations, support processes, and operating procedures. 
  • Provide 3rd level and engineering management and support of enterprise data & UC infrastructure. 



  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field. 
  • Strong background in Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4 technologies and the ability to work as a team to maintain infrastructure stability and technical certification as CCNP or JNCIP required 
  • Deep understanding of routing and switching, firewalls, wireless, remote access VPN, site-to-site, network/application load balancing, DHCP, DNS, public key infrastructure, RADIUS, TACACS desired 
  • Knowledge and experience with the following: Juniper Ethernet Switching, Cisco routing and switching. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required 
  • 3-5 years experience working in an environment with LAN, regional and global MPLS networks including multiple remote site offices or equivalent combination of education and experience required 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Works well within a team and adapts easily to change 
  • A self-starter with a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals 
  • Experience in Data Center Network/Security Architecture and Engineering is a plus 
  • Strong experience in LAN/WAN/Unified Communication Architecture and Engineering 
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
