Kelly Scientific Resources is currently hiring for 3 Direct Hire Quality Control Analysts I-III to work at a Pharma/Biotech company in Redmond, WA. 

Job Summary

  • Plan, organize, and execute protocols, according to high scientific standards, under minimal supervision following GLP and GMP guidelines.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to perform a variety of assays according to current written protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebook and documentation according to regulatory guidelines.
  • Effectively understand the meaning of assay results and be able to relay them to other team members.
  • Identify any deviations in assay results and troubleshoot for potential causes when applicable.
  • Periodically present results and summarize progress to team members.
  • Intellectually contribute to group goals by staying current with scientific literature and state-of-the-art methodology.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks to meet goals and drive projects to completion according to timelines.
  • Perform a variety of wet chemistry, biological and chromatographic assays and methods for all samples submitted for analysis and provide results according to a timeline.
  • Identify any OOS/OOT results and work with Quality Assurance to identify any potential root causes where applicable.
  • Generate and review Standard Operating Procedures for lab equipment, assays and tasks associated with all QC activities.
  • Help to maintain lab cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Complete all required documentation as necessary as per company policy.
  • Assist in release and testing of incoming raw materials per cGMP guidelines.
  • Assist in training new laboratory personnel on proper laboratory techniques and current protocols.
  • Other duties as required.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry Biology or related science education
  • 2-5 years laboratory experience
  • Hands on experience with ELISA, chromogenic, chemical and/or biological assays.
  • Good aseptic technique and proficiency handling microbial cultures.
  • Experienced or knowledgeable in working in a regulated cGMP environment.
  • Knowledge of HPLC principles and techniques.
  • Assay validation or qualification experience is desired.
  • Ability to strive in a fast-paced, creative, and goal-oriented environment.
