HR Administrative Role

Job Description

A manufacturing company in the South Charlotte area is seeking a coordinator to support the HR Business Partners, both internally and externally, to provide consistent and consolidated support for associates through the hiring process and other associated needs. Qualified candidate should possess:

- Associates Degree in related field
- knowledge of HR Business practices
- an understanding of the legalities of hiring and onboarding as well as termination
- ability to create minor presentations regarding open enrollment
- a process driven background
- ability to questions the process if a more efficient way is apparent
- ability to implement change
- ability to handle complaints
- able to problem solve
- initiative


The essential functions are as follows:

- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Managers and Payroll to process electronic data submissions of associate hires and data changes internally.
- Drive onboarding activities for new associates, orientation, new hire paperwork, badge, time and attendance and building access.
- Manage various associate programs including, but not limited to, service and recognition award programs, celebrations, company picnics, charitable events, tuition reimbursement, benefits open enrollment communications.
- Manage associate leave of absence programs, FMLA, paid parental leave and company disability program administration.
- Process associate personnel files and documentation.
- Conduct annual compliance reporting
- Maintain compliance documentation (i.e. organizational charts, I-9 forms, state postings).
- Maintain associate paper forms (i.e. tax, job bid) and update electronic signage
- Receive and respond to associate inquiries.
- Provide coordination for candidate interviews.
- Participate in process improvements, development of best practices and HR projects.
- Other duties as assigned..
