Job DescriptionAs a Kelly Services Quality Technician you will be responsible for ensuring quality of the WASP products, visually inspecting items and comparing to blueprints, while tracking data in excel and additional programs. Must be proficient with excel, blueprint reading, and have previous experience in quality assurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Inspects units, piece parts, and assemblies to find defects.
-Collects and charts data for use of statistical process control.
-Researches defects the source of the problem.
-Performs several quality gates throughout the WASP value stream including counting parts, visually inspecting parts for paint defects, matching parts up to blue prints or bill of material, auditing kits in the warehouse and hydraulic areas, and validating In Process Validation sheets.
-Could perform nondestructive testing utilizing hardness gage, thickness gage, and torque wrench.
-Ability to utilize a variety of computer software packages, such as excel, power point, and word.
-Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, technical procedures, and charts. Ability to write reports, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to operations on such tasks as frequency distribution. At times measure product to ensure item is correct.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
