Customer Support Representatives needed - Holtsville, NY

Kelly Services is seeking Customer Support Representatives for a manufacture of computer printing technologies in Holtsville, NY.

Job Title: Customer Support Representative II

Location: Holtsville, NY

Contract Length: 2 months (12/02/2019 to 02/14/2020)

Contract Type: W2

Pay Rate: $16.00/HR

***Recent graduates are welcome to apply! Technical background preferred. Training will be provided!!***

Note - CSR's will work part time (16 hours) till New Year’s Eve

Availability to choose your preferred shift from:

  • 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am (Pay Rate - $16.50)
  • 1st two weeks of January is required 
  • Weekends/Sundays – required
  • HAVE TO WORK NEW YEAR’S DAY - MANDATORY
  • Help desk is closed on Christmas and half day on Christmas Eve, Help Desk is OPEN on 1/1/19, so you are required on New Year’s Day. New Year’s Eve is a pretty light schedule.
  • Training -1 week training - Monday through Friday: You can choose from the below training schedule:
    • Week of 2-Dec - both day and evening classes
    • Week of 9-Dec - both day and evening classes

Job Description:

Provides front-line customer service support via phone to all client’s internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
1. Provides assistance to customers during all phases of the inventory process.
2. Assists customers with their questions about how to set-up and operate client equipment to successfully conduct their inventories.
3. Maintains appropriate response times and abandon rates as defined in the department’s goals.
4. Coordinates internal operational activities to ensure each order/request is processed in a timely manner as agreed to with customer.
5. Serves as a liaison to assist client care teammates, account managers, IT and operations staff at all levels to support the needs of the customers.
6. Prepares and enters required client information/requests into department’s database to document customer interaction and resolution.
7. Obtains a working knowledge of product functionality/ performance and troubleshooting methodologies to assist clients when they call in for assistance.
8. Maintains a working knowledge of the computer programs currently in use in the department.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Light IT background preferred.
  • Some prior customer service experience a must.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Computer literate; exposure to Windows environment.
