Asset Analyst

Kelly IT has an opening for an Asset Analyst to work with our client in Pleasanton, CA.

Duration: 6+ months; Shift 9-6

SUMMARY

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Weekly inventory counts of in stock laptops and desktops
  • Ensure the older inventory gets deployed first (FIFO)
  • Palletize hardware by date of receipt
  • Assign new and used hardware; Allocate laptops and desktops for new hires and TVC
  • Assign laptops and desktops for tickets and deliver to ServiceDesk team for imaging
  • Allocate hardware for mergers and acquisitions
  • Allocate hardware for projects and demos
  • Receive returns from Service desk and walk-ins
  • Sort hardware based on make and model
  • Segregate hardware based on condition and update status as deployable and non-deployable
  • Ensure deployable hardware is clean and ready for deployment
  • Non-deployable assets are updated in ServiceNow
  • Restock inventory shelves
  • Work on asset allocation for new hire related tickets
  • Track missing hardware   laptops/desktops
  • Fulfill tickets for hardware requests for mergers and acquisitions and deliver equipment to the shipping team
  • Manage hardware inventory for refresh project
  • Create daily report outlining hardware needs based on incoming tickets
  • Perform weekly physical count of new/in stock hardware and provide the report for management review
  • Maintain report of all outstanding tickets based on hardware requirements
  • Perform monthly archives of completed tickets
  • Help ServiceDesk team as needed
  • Manage priority for hardware requests

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good understanding of Service Now
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized with attention to details
  • Ability to multitask and maintain focus on shifting priorities
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Able to work on weekends and overtime as required
