Agency Service Representatives - Cincinnati, OH

Kelly Services is currently seeking several Agency Service Representatives  for one of our top Healthcare Insurance clients for the Cincinnati, OH location.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Schedule:  Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 8:00 pm
Duration: 10/28/2019 to 12/27/2019
Anticipated Start date: 10/28

The Customer Service Representative will respond to customer questions on the telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility and claims.

Job Duties:
Analyzes problems and provides information and solutions.
Operates a computer to obtain and research information plus documents information, activities and changes in the database.
Thoroughly documents inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis.
Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Receives and places follow-up telephone calls and e-mails to answer customer questions that are routine in nature.
Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication. 
Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life. 
Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day. 
Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests. 
Required to meet department goals.


Job Requirements:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have 1 year of previous experience working in a Customer Service and/or Call Center environment. 
Healthcare insurance industry experience 
Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge 
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Strong organizational, problem-solving and PC skills required.
Proficiency with computer navigation and data entry skills are required.
