Contract to Hire

Salary $80K to start.

Location: Richardson Texas

The Advanced Analytics Consultant will work closely with a variety of Client Analytics professionals and stakeholders to prepare and deliver data and analytics deliverables. This individual will perform research and assist in analyzing health, financial, and contact center data as well as develop and modify SQL queries to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. Strong SQL and Statistical skills are required to successfully interact with, model, and ultimately prepare insightful analytics for clients. The candidate will need to creatively solve problems using data, develop impactful and meaningful ways to present that data, and be comfortable working with medium to large datasets. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently (as well as within a team), have a strong willingness to learn and possess an eagerness to take on new problems and be enthusiastic about experimenting with data to provide insights that add value.



* Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ experience working with healthcare data, SQL, data visualization, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1-year experience in data analysis and information reporting using SQL relating to healthcare data including pharmacy OR 7 years’ experience in health care services, working with healthcare data in SQL, data visualization, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1-year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data including pharmacy.

* Requires in-depth knowledge and experience

* Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

* Independently solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

* Works independently, receives minimal guidance

* Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members



1.Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word and Power Point.

o       data analysis and relational-style query languages

o       machine learning and/or statistical modeling

o       data visualization

o       a high-level programming language

o       distributed computing

o       understanding of healthcare

2.Use advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data and construct solutions to business problems.

3. Perform complex statistical analysis on experimental or business data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by business analysts.

4. Construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines to support data analysis or product functions; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on real-world results.

7. Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.

8. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.

9. Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.

  • W2/ HOURLY PAY RATE: open (based upon experience and qualifications) Position is “EXEMPT”
  • There is no “per diem” with this position
  • There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
