ERP Solution Architect, Manufacturing & Supply Chain

JOB TITLE:  ERP Solution Architect, Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Location: Seattle, WA 98102

Duration: 6 Months +


Job Description:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Contribute as a core team member in all business system projects, primarily related, but not limited to, Client-s Global Oracle EBS system.

- Act as an expert in Client plan to manufacture practices and structures and how they relate to existing and new business systems

- Translate recurring issues and problems into fundamental solutions

- Establish feasibility, identify gaps, resource requirements and project budgets and prioritize with business community

- Fully understand changes in scope and schedule and how they will impact other business processes or projects

- Manage, prioritize, sequence project demand based on resource availability and timelines

- Manage requirements development, functional design and technical design

- Planning, coordinating and monitoring tasks, including complex and varied tasks

- Have a good understanding of regulatory requirements and how they relate to existing and new business systems and practices, primarily GxP

- Provide options & recommendations on technology solutions to address business needs

- Configure, customize and test Manufacturing related modules within Oracle R12 e-Business Suite

- Develop and document detailed program specifications, business process models and scenarios

- Determine the technical, interfacing and operational requirements to resolve Oracle EBS software issues

- Support and solution to build integration for boundary systems (MES, LIMS, OPC, Labelling Solution)

- Manage relationships with Software vendor (Oracle). Maintain an awareness and influence on vendor directions and releases. Participate to Oracle CAB Meetings. Connect regularly with Oracle Technical Architects/Development responsible. Establish Client as a key Oracle customer. Assist with vendor negotiations.

- Participate in post-production software support and problem resolution



Skills/Knowledge Required:


Working experience & Education

- University degree.

- 15 years of overall work experience

- 10 years in complex projects delivery

- 3 years Pharmaceutical Industry experience



- Hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications (R12)

- Strong technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing Modules (Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution System, Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures, Quality) and Warehouse Management Modules (Warehouse Management System, Mobile Supply Chain Applications)

- Deep knowledge of Plan to Manufacture process flow in Oracle

- Understanding of other related Oracle EBS modules

- Experience in Oracle e-Business suite best practices

- Good working knowledge of Oracle e-Business architecture and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems

- Strong understanding and experience on Oracle AIM methodology

- Experience with business process design, key configuration workshops, GAP identification, RICEW identification, Functional Design, Test Planning and Test Execution

- Experience working with managed service support vendors

- Communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solution alternatives

- Expertise in delivering solutions with process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering; process/software gap analysis and resolution; troubleshooting and issue resolution

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems

- Experience in Pharma industry

- Excellent oral and written communication skills (fluency in written and spoken English).

- Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration and communication ability

- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, follow-up, strategic, critical and innovative thinking, problem solving and analytical skills

- Team player; open minded, creative thinker

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously & critically assess pertinent information changes

- Ability to rapidly understand strategic objectives and create robust application solutions

- Capable of working effectively under pressure in a multi-cultural environment, at any level of the organization, with a variety of stakeholders.

- Work with senior-level functional management to gather ideas and opportunities for new development area.

- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with the Corporate IT team.

- Flexible and able to travel.
