Manager – Enterprise Information and Data Management (W2, direct hire)

Overview: Kelly Services® is seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our client’s team as a Manager for their Enterprise Information and Data Management team. This is a direct hire role for a progressive and innovative company in Tampa area. POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Manager of Enterprise Information and Data Management is primarily responsible for the oversight of the client’s Data Team. This will include their database, data warehouse, reporting, Financial Systems and BI team members. In this role, you will provide leadership as well as create a road map for success within the data team, be responsible for optimization of current tools and systems, research and recommendation of new technologies, forecasting future platform capacity planning and continuous process improvement to meet current and future business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Collaborate across multiple teams and/or departments to research, architect, engineer and configure database solutions in support of business needs.
  • Create and develop dimension model for the data warehouse.
  • Review analyze and optimize ETL processes to bring company data sources into an OLAP-focused data warehouse, providing enterprise analytics and dashboarding.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create workflow process for managing incidents, work requests, and change control across Enterprise Information Management (EIM) systems.
  • Contribute to continuous EIM technology assessment and review, analyze and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Allocate team members to ensure adequate support for all assigned EIM applications, including, but not limited to, ETL, Data replication and database for both day-to-day operations and on-call support.
  • Manage EIM operations team to improve database and data warehouse operations.
  • Compile and maintain documentation of inventory for EIM infrastructure software and systems assets such as data dictionary and their corresponding agreements/contracts.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience with developing/managing database, dimensional modeling, data warehouse and BI applications.
  • 7+ years working with Database tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, or Azure.
  • Previous experience leading a team. Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Strong experience with CRM backend integration, preferably Salesforce.com
