Grants Manager

Job Description

We are currently sourcing a Contracts and Grants Manager. The incumbent will support our Social Sciences research organization with compliance and administration of our grants and contracts as well as serve as our in-house contracting and subcontracting specialist.   


Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field of study.
5 years of experience in Contract/Grant management.
Experience working for a non-profit research institute preferred
Excellent written/oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Service-oriented personality, with demonstrated ability to work independently, manage, and follow through on multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (ex. Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with Deltek CostPoint a plus.
Working knowledge of pre-award and post-award contract/grant administration elements, such as proposal/application budgeting, subcontracting, procurement, compliance and government reporting.
Familiarity with government systems such as System for Award Management (SAM.gov), Grants.gov, FSRS.gov (FFATA/eSRS) Reporting system, eRA Commons.
Knowledge of Federal Regulations, Uniform Guidance, and standard terms/conditions that govern administration of federal funds.
