AD10 - Administrative Assistant I

Kelly Services is looking for an Administrative Assistant I for one of their customers for a 6-month temporary assignment.

Location: Charlotte, NC 28277

Shift: 8-5 Monday-Friday. During tax season a Saturday or Sunday might be necessary.

Contract: 6-month contract

Pay Rate: $20.16

Summary:

  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions.
  •  Department is going to have audits and tax returns during the first of the year. Will need this person to help with admin work during that cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Office management experience
  • Tax experience preferred
  • Entry level to 2 years’ experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Major:
