Marketing Assistant

Our client, operating mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology areas, is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant for a 6 months contract position located in Miramar, Florida.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate – $19.75/Hour

Task list:

  • Support in execution and logistics of events and conferences, as well as customer events from planning to executions including all logistical aspects (Americas)
  • Support Ports related activities such as OCR product launch
  • Support promotional campaigns for new build and ports (Media, Creative, PR, Digital, Social Media, and Marketing Content Development)
  • Lead marketing material updates to ensure they are on brand
  • Lead and represent brand plans and initiatives across internal functions
  • Events budget management
  • Administrative support to sales team

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of integrated marketing communications experience
  • Experience in Tradeshows and Conferences from planning to execution
  • Experience managing media, PR and/or creative strategy/planning
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization with comfort in bringing forward a strong point of view
  • Leadership skills, collaborative, team orientation
  • Tenacious attention to detail, and ability to steward projects from inception to completion
  • Ability to work autonomously and orchestrate cross matrixed organization and represent work across multiple functions at executive levels
  • Experience in InDesign, Photoshop
