Marketing Generalist

Our client, a financial services holding company, is currently seeking a Marketing Generalist for a 1 year temporary position . The position is located in Minneapolis, MN.

Pay Rate: $30.00/Hour - $42.00/Hour

 

SUMMARY:The Marketing Generalist implements marketing and promotional campaign strategies to assist in meeting the business goals. Collaborates with stakeholders to define scope of work, obtains estimates and partners with Marketing Manager to develop Project Overview. Once Sr. Management approves Project Overview, manages program through materials development and delivery stages.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Has ownership of the creative development and project components with internal teams or external vendor associated with the two key initiatives: new product launch and new application channel rollout.

Core responsibilities will focus on two types of components: customer facing marketing materials and internal banker facing training and communication materials Develops creative/project brief and routes to Managers for review prior to submission

  • Reviews and routes materials to appropriate SMEs including Branding team project summary with requested feedback date allow 2 - 3 days and attach Project Overview for reference
  • Ensures final SME comments incorporated and then routes to all necessary regulatory and compliance reviews Once regulatory and compliance reviews completed and materials finalized, sends to SME for reference

2. Defines and documents workflow with a checklist to ensure materials will be delivered into acquisition channels on time and accurately

3. Creates and maintains marketing materials, collateral and signage for all customer facing products including paper applications and rate sheets including managing necessary SME and compliance and regulatory reviews/approvals

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Business Administration or equivalent- Seven or more years of marketing experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry - Experience managing external vendors- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and accurately in order to meet varying deadlines.- Strong attention to detail- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
