Job Description
Test components, assemblies, and products, applying knowledge of circuit card assemblies and cable harness assemblies. Record and analyze test data to determine if a product meets the test requirements. Measure the capabilities and performance of new and existing products. Design tests/stands to qualify new products and to support changes to existing products. Assemble and maintain test stands and equipment components and services for development and maintenance test stands, test and evaluate prototype hardware. Communicate both orally and in writing with personnel regarding testing, test procedures, evaluation of tested units. Also dispositions non-conforming products as related to troubleshooting test failures.
Requirements
Experience in quality and manufacturing, especially in a DOD environment. It usually requires training in inspection techniques and principles and a minimum of 3 years- relevant experience.Working knowledge of all testing techniques and instruments. Ability to read a wide variety of electronic, mechanical and assembly drawings. Good reading, writing and math skills. Good communication skills in both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Ability to work overtime.
Previous experience in accordance with AS9100, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies desired.
