Position will support Material BOM/Schedule Mgmt within a critical DoD program. Provide assistance and guidance to support the material Integrated Product Team (IPT). Entails facilitating the evolution of the program BOM with engineers, schedule management of when material is needed, and the coordination of material orders with supply chain. Ideal candidate needs to have excellent skills in coordinating with several different groups, managing very complex and evolving material demands.

Essential Functions:

• Develops initial Bill of Material (BOM) orders with cognizant engineers

• Manages the effect of configuration management on material demand and adjusts the purchase orders and manufacturing build orders accordingly.

• Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

• Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.

• Coordinates with buyers to ensure supplier deliveries meet program schedule needs

• Coordinates with stakeholders to optimize material ordering and manufacturing

• Provides complex ad hoc analyses for material-related management needs

Top 3 skills:

• Demonstrated advanced analysis experience with Excel

• Ability to coordinate efforts across a group of individuals (interpersonal skills, excellent written/verbal communication, leadership qualities); thrive in a position of accountability without direct authority.

• Experience working with Bills of Material, Material Requirements Planning systems (Costpoint, SAP, etc.), preferably in the aerospace industry.

Program Material Control Analyst in their Chandler, AZ facility to support Material BOM/Schedule Management within a critical DoD program. This position will provide assistance and guidance to support the material Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years combined experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or Minimum of 1 years of combined experience with a Master’s Degree in any of the following: Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Subcontracts Management, or Program Cost / Financial Analyst

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with MS Excel – Must have created, analyzed, & maintained spreadsheets with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in either Business, Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management, or Data Science/Analytics

• Experience with Costpoint, SAP, or related business software

• Experience as a Material Analyst

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels within the organization
