Quality Assurance Team Lead

Kelly Scientific Resources is currently hiring a QA Team Lead for a food manufacturing facility in NE Portland, OR.  Experience with GMP, HACCP, and SQF are required for this opportunity.


  • Will assist the QA Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department to assist with company quality program and prepare for upcoming SQF audit and certifications. 
  • Day to day tasks may include handling COA requests from customers, filling out pre-audit surveys, document verification of critical processes, routine pest control device monitoring, employee GMP coaching, and general food safety program management and development. 
  • Will also be responsible for maintaining regularly scheduled food safety and quality program audits, assist with project work, and will act as a department stand-in when the manager is out of office.


  • The successful incumbent will have a good deal of common sense, basic math, and statistics.
  • Bachelor of Science, or higher, in mathematics or natural science is highly desirable.
  • Internal auditing, GMP inspection, and Document control skills should be consistent with that a QA Specialist who has approximately 1 to 3 years of experience on the production floor.
