Strategic Account Manager

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and high motivated people with experience in consumer products or retail management who are looking for a fun, entrepreneurial environment.
Proactively manage portfolio of vendor accounts through strategic market analysis, inventory flow management, lead for client relationships to achieve revenue and profitability goals Continuously prospect new opportunities with current and potential suppliers in an open, collaborative environment.
Attends various industry trade shows and travel to existing and new vendors to build the business pipeline.
Work directly with Director of Retail Operations to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of a portfolio of accounts including but not limited to selection and purchase of product assortments, establishment and responsibility of category/item go to market strategy and execution plans
Responsible for vendor facing relationship with history of category / product assortment development and direct negotiating pricing and inventory flow
Develop and execute ongoing business pipeline with existing and new vendors
Work cross-functionally with other members of the retail ops teams along with finance, IT, marketing to execute everyday business operations and identify recommended areas of improvement


Bachelors degree in business or similar field
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with an attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to work well collaboratively with a team and individually
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Preferred 5-7 years in account management or retail operational role
