Data Entry Operator

Our client in Farmington Hills, MI is looking for an experienced Data Entry candidate for a 1-1.5-month placement (depending on business need). The pay rate is set at $12.50-13.00/hr and will not turn into a permanent position. The position is first shift, Monday-Friday. Testing prior to submission to the position will be required (1-minute typing speed test). While working temporary- this position is eligible for Kelly Services Contractor Benefits to include:  Medical, Dental, Vision coverage and access to Kelly's Discount portal for deals on shopping, restaurants, and gift cards. 

Typical Job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Data entry into excel spreadsheet. Training and support will be provided.
  • Scanning and invoicing
  • Even though this is a data entry position, candidate must be able to navigate Excel and other computer software systes with ease to have success in this role. 

Must-have job requirements:

  • High School diploma is required. Associate Degree is a strong plus.
  • 1-3 years of strong data entry experience in an office setting, strong preference for candidates with scanning and invoicing experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communications skills, in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to monitor deadlines and plan, coordinate and execute assignments
  • Experience in the use of computer systems
