Bilingual Administrative Assistant

Our government client in Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking for an Administrative Assistant/Interview Clerk to assist their Social Services division. No experience is required but the client would like to have a candidate who is bilingual in Spanish with some Microsoft Excel (data entry) and Word experience.

Role is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and the pay rate is $11.50/hr. Contract is set to last through the end of June 2020.

Typical Job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Primary function of this position is to serve as the “Interviewer” for the ACCESS Business Model. 
  • Expected to complete abbreviated interviews for public assistance programs. Abbreviated interviews include collecting of data, resolving discrepancies, requesting appropriate documentation, and documenting case records appropriately. 
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Organized and able to complete assignments

Must-have job requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 0-2 years of administrative, contact center/customer service in an office setting or internship experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Effective communications skills, in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to monitor deadlines and plan, coordinate and execute assignments
  • Experience in the use of computer systems
