Warehouse Logistics-Forklift-2nd Shift

Kelly Services is looking for Logistics individuals to work in a warehouse and knows how to operate a forklift.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires Forklift and/or power truck license, and some specialized training in packaging/mailing procedures, inventory systems, purchase order systems, and WMS.
  • 3-5 years related experience or equivalent experience preferred (e.g., mechanical, engine or generator assembly).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Participates in all workplace safety and environmental policies and procedures by wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), keeping work area safe and clean using 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), completing annual safety training, and reporting any risks or hazards.
  • Produces quality work by following defined departmental procedures and/or process documentation.
  • Through team meetings, communicates directly with customers to identify customer needs and maintains ongoing regular, direct contact with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinates the integration of parts, supply and unit orders. Expedites parts for orders.
  • Maintains accurate records of export shipments. Determines number and type of export containers necessary for export shipments.
  • Responsible for processing correct transactions in Oracle.
  • Properly disposes of scrap in the most financially, beneficial methods.
  • Rotates through various stages of team production.
  • Checks orders, specifications, or sample to determine work procedure, recognizes errors and advises Team Leader of any corrections

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Candidates must have their own steel toe shoes or boots.
  • Candidates must also have reliable transportation to and from work (there is a bus, but the schedule is limited so not a reliable source of transportation).
