AD38 - Human Resources Assistant

Kelly Services is looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant - Japanese / English

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strong language skills to conduct business transactions in both English and Japanese

Support human resource and administration activities for Japanese assigned staff; may include VISA coordination, banking, housing, transportation, etc.

Arrange meeting, training room, and hotel needs of department

Handle special projects based on management’s request

Daily Tasks:

Support translation/interpretation needs of department

Support presentation preparation, design content to deliver message using Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint

Arrange meeting / training room and hotel needs of department

Interface with Japanese speaking associates and vendors to coordinate meetings, business needs, and communication activities

Required Skills:

High School Diploma

2-3 years working in an office, experience working with a Japanese company is a plus

Some HR-related experience is a plus

Understanding of Japanese/US business culture

Strong and confident communication skills

High level of professionalism

Ability to read, write, and speak in Japanese and English (Bilingual)

Strong PC skills (especially Microsoft Excel)

Interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

Ability to assist Japanese associates integrating in US culture

Comfortable interacting with Executives

Adaptable to changes

Ability to manage confidential information
