Kelly Services in Brighton is looking for a Customer Service Rep for a customer in Whitmore Lake. This is a Temp-to Hire role making $14/hr

Basic Function:
Responsible for answering, responding and/or relaying incoming telephone calls and emails in a professional manner while performing various clerical duties.
Responsibilities
Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner. Respond to company emails appropriately.
Receive customer orders via phone, fax and/or email. Create customer order confirmation; send confirmation to customer and staple confirmation to purchase order.
Place purchase orders with vendors, follow-up as necessary. Receive incoming parts orders from vendors and process accordingly. Assist with packaging outgoing equipment and customer orders.
Type Customer work orders, ensure completeness and accuracy. Create invoice, assign work order number, using invoice number. Place work order with equipment and bag. Create delivery slips. Request customer purchase orders and follow-up when necessary.
Scan and save work orders. Email work orders and check sheets when requested. Maintain work order files, archive when necessary.
Maintain spread sheet for LTVs, blenders and annual PM-s.
Clerical support to Managers, Technicians and Sales Reps. Make copies, send and receive faxes, type quotes, scan and save to files. Type estimates, ensure completeness and accuracy; send to customer and follow-up.
Assist as needed receiving in-coming equipment for service. Start work order and place with equipment. Write information in tracking log. Maintain tracking log for equipment to be serviced. Alert management if equipment has not been serviced in a timely manner.

Send warranty equipment to Manufacturer and send equipment for subcontract work; track outgoing and incoming. Use Purchase Orders when sending out equipment.

Generate shipment labels for outgoing shipments (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
Special projects when assigned.
Keep work area organized and clean at all times.
