Senior IT Specialist (SAM/ ITAM)

Location: Marysville, Ohio 43040

Duration: 2 years

Knowledgeable of virtual solutions pertaining to license requirements
Proficient in licensing models for client and servers (IBM, Microsoft, VMWare, RedHat Linux, Oracle, Adobe)
Work with vendor management office and suppliers to obtain quotes
Experience participating in IT Asset Management process and procedures
Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions
Strong knowledge of software publishers' licensing models and software deployment and use rights

Business Experience
Proficient with Service Now SAM Professional, Contracts, HAM Assets, and Inventory management
Proficient with federated IT asset discovery source setup/ management
Proficient with SCCM
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access
CSAM Certification (not required)
Detail oriented with clear English verbal and written communication skills
Motivated, ambitious, team orientated

Daily Tasks Performed
License Review and request quotes
Create Hardware and Software brands/models in HP Asset Manager
Create License & Contracts in HP Asset Manager
Ensure all software licenses are entered in HP Asset Manager
Support/Training IMAC team on HP Asset Manager use
Receive and enter license keys in HP Asset manager

Required Skills
Service Now SAM Professional Experience
Current SAM Certification
5 plus years’ experience with other multi-national IT ITAM practices
confidence to lead and advise other in IT on Asset Best Practices and Policies.
