Perm Technical Support Rep

Kelly IT has an opening for a Permanent Customer Support Field Technician to work with our client in Auburn, CA



This position requires the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, well organized and personable.  Work in a technically complex environment that requires fast response time to change. Provides customer service and support to our end users; troubleshoot and maintain computers and printers including loading and unloading printers, and cleaning and maintaining computer equipment; install, maintain and diagnose problems.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities.


  • Installs, tests, monitors, upgrades, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, networks and peripherals
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, users and the public using principles of good customer service
  • Provides in person and phone troubleshooting support to end users
  • Perform a variety of physical tasks
  • Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.




To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge/skill and or ability required.

  • 1+ yrs experience in Windows OS environment
  • Knowledge of printing concepts
  • Knowledge of Printer Maintenance
  • Knowledge of Printer Servers & Configuring Print Servers
  • Basic knowledge of DHCP
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Basic knowledge of User Manager for domains
  • Basic concepts of PC peripherals and maintenance
  • Basic concepts of PC hardware and software
  • Professional and courteous phone manner
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have a valid Drivers License and meet the Company Driver Guidelines criteria for vehicle insurance
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and requires 1+ yrs relevant experience.
