Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator

Our client, a global multinational risk management, insurance brokerage and advisory company, is currently seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator for a 3+ month contract position with the opportunity for extension.  The position is located in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Pay Range: $22.00/hour


Hours:  40 hr work week; 8am-5pm during first week training period. After that, there could be a little more flexibility with work start time, such as 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm, etc.


Contractor will be required to work Mon, Wed, and Fri at the Mt Laurel office and have the option to work remotely on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.



The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator's role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company's corporate global Matching Gifts Program and assist with the other corporate CSR programs as needed. This role reports into and requires working closely with the CSR Global Lead.


Primary Matching Gift Program responsibilities include:

  • Serving as an internal subject matter expert on the program;
  • Reviewing all matching gift requests against the program criteria to determine eligibility, then recording and submitting match-eligible requests to finance for payment. This work requires a high level of data entry and strong proven experience with Word, PDF, Excel, Outlook group mailboxes, and SharePoint;
  • Communicating match eligibility decisions to colleagues and/or charities and working with them to resolve any questions/concerns;
  • Managing several CSR group email mailboxes, which receives all incoming matching gift requests. This work requires proven experience with Outlook group mailboxes;
  • Generating program usage statistics for use by the CSR Global Lead; and
  • Liaising with corporate HR and Finance to collect and integrate data needed for program reporting.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with project work related to the overall CSR program, as requested by the CSR Global Lead;
  • Serving as an internal subject matter expert on the company's global Volunteer Day Program; and
  • Maintaining a SharePoint site to store additional materials and intellectual capital, with direction from the CSR Global Lead.



  • The CSR Coordinator position requires an organized, proactive, and technology savvy individual who will work effectively with colleagues, charities, internal corporate stakeholders and the Global CSR Lead.
  • Proven proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook group mailboxes, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint. Preferred experience with PowerPoint and website management.

2+ years’ experience in:

  • Large amounts of data entry
  • Online meeting tools, particularly Skype
  • Corporate communications
  • Customer service-oriented roles
  • Preferably 2 years or more of matching gifts or corporate social responsibility program experience, ideally gained within a professional service or a B2B environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong follow-up skills
