Customer Service Representative-Corporate

Job Description

Kelly Services is now hiring for a Customer Service role for a technology corporation. Hours are from 8:30 am - 5:30pm

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide exceptional customer service to all Business Units served by Direct Lens Purchases. Minimum 2 years call center experience and order management/data entry experience, preferably using Oracle or similar.

Primary duties:
1. Process and enter into Order Management system(s) all types of incoming orders-phone, fax, other.
2. Apply necessary customer information for effective and accurate processing of orders, phone, and fax.
3. Check inventory status and provide accurate information using Oracle, PKMS, and Web systems.
4. Research customer delivery inquiries and provide proof of deliveries.
5. Communicate and administer policies and procedures, consistent with the business unit(s) being supported.
6. Interaction with both internal and external customers.
7. Utilize corporate tools and software applications to the fullest in order to reach decisions on the resolution of customer requests/issues.
8. Maintain an excellent knowledge of new products, services, and promotional opportunities in order to best serve the customers. Possess highly proficient PC skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and general PC navigation).
9. Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and a proven ability to work in a team environment.
10. Ability to work in a confined desktop area for extended periods while managing elements of an open-office environment.
11. Ability to multitask and retain the knowledge of the extensive line of product and item codes.
12. Must possess the ability to multi-task while managing constant interruptions.
13. Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills through verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
