The Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following EH&S policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Read and comprehend work orders
Complete transactions in a bar code/scanner computer system
Demonstrate accuracy when sorting, picking and selecting required material
Ensure proper material handling and packaging to meet quality standards
Properly package material and secure for transportation
Complete work efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for productivity, quality and cost
Perform accurate physical count of material quantity to resolve discrepancies
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or human resources
Frequently required to stand, walk, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 40 lbs.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions
Moderate to loud noise level
Indoor and outdoor warehouse environment with adequate ventilation and high fork truck traffic
Operation of a pallet jack
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Three or more months related experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic computer skills
Possess knowledge of Lean principles, good manufacturing practices
Understand and follow all ISO and 5S+1 initiatives
Shift: 1st 7am-4pm Mon-Fri
