Lead MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER - QUAKERTOWN, PA / DIRECT HIRE
As the Manufacturing Process Engineer you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing processes. You will be providing and determining a manufacturing method within the company s capabilities, estimating production times, operation routing, and overall manufacturing efficiency. You will generate and troubleshoot programs for Laser Welding, Etching and Cutting as well as develop support documents and fixtures needed to manufacture the product. You will need to be an effective communicator and must have good business judgement and be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner. You must always be on the lookout for ways to improve performance and efficiency on the job.
EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS:
*4 year mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering degree or a minimum of 7 years related experience OR
*A combination of a 2 year associates degree mechanical/Industrial/manufacturing engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
*Previous experience we are looking for would be in a machine shop utilizing CNC milling machine tools and must be proficient in CNC programming, Solid Works, Assembly Techniques, Laser Welding, Etching Cutting.
*Previous experience as a Lead in a manufacturing process environment
*Experience writing WI's, SOP's, ECO's and Root Cause Analysis for CAR's
