Kelly Healthcare Resources is currently looking for an EMT/Paramedic/LPN to come and join our client located near Charleston, SC! As the EMT/Paramedic/LPN with a large manufacturing facility, you’ll be responsible for providing first-aid and emergency medical care treatment to employees, contractors and visitors within an on-site health center. Specifically, you may perform annual hearing testing, vision testing and disability management, as well as assist with personnel health and flu clinics. In this role, you will also be accountable for training designated employees in various emergency first-aid procedures to include Basic Life Support (BLS). ·         Use assessment skills to evaluate employee health care needs, prioritize treatment and maintain patient flow
·         Conduct assessment by taking patient history and physical assessment and by obtaining vital signs and other medical tests
·         Acquire intake history and provides initial assessments and care as outlined in clinic and DHEC protocols including any lab testing required by policy and protocol
·         Provide treatment within the scope of practice as defined by South Carolina state law
·         Collaborate with care practitioners providing care and evaluation as needed according to clinic protocol while adhering to DHEC approved skills by certification /Scope of Practice
·         Identify equipment in need of repair and notify clinic manager
·         Identify emergency situations providing care within legal scope of practice
·         Administer medicines and treatment as outlined in South Carolina DHEC and as directed by clinic medical direction to the level of skills and certifications
·         Maintain medical records
·         Follow infection control procedures
·         Demonstrate knowledge of blood borne pathogen information
·         High School diploma, GED or equivalent
·         Hold current EMT/Military Health (Medic) certification or LPN/RN license
·         Hold current EMT instruction certification or willingness to become certified within 3 months of hire
·         Ability to participate in further training site specific to industrial health care
·         Experience in an industrial setting preferred
