Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Program Manager in Test Engineering on contract at their Farmington Hills, MI location.
Program Manager of Automotive Testing Management
Making appropriate Program Development plans (Test Resource Budget and Timing) required to achieve future model performance targets. And upon deployment, capturing, analyzing, managing risk and reporting to the OCVE (Overseas Chief Vehicle Engineer)/TMG (Test Management Group)/ VPDM (Vehicle Product Development Manager).
Working with all Test Engineering Functions, Finance, and Resource Management to determine and manage the appropriate program resource requirements (Test Vehicles, Transportation Budget, Test Vehicle Distribution Schedules). Report progress to the OCVE/TMG/VPDM weekly and at Program Milestones and manage risk to development progress.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering REQUIRED
- 3-10 years of automotive development experience
- Program Management experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and planning skills in the area of vehicle testing or component development.
- Scope of planning is cradle to grave.
- Microsoft Project experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated & well organized.
- Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
